As forecast in my Solar Eclipse post, the October surprise of the 2024 US Election will be celestial, like no other October surprise in history.
This is due to the almost lunar eclipse on Thursday, October 17, three days before the birthday of one of the candidates.

Yet the signs in this almost lunar eclipse Full Moon are the archetypes comprising the sacred marriage of opposites: Aries and Libra.
Kamala is the puella (Libra) high flying girl archetype who chose a puer (Aries) flying boy partner as running mate. As much as she has exhibited her lack of qualifications to be US president since the coup that thrust her into the role of unprepared candidate, the eclipse choice of her projection of her selfish (me first!) Aries Moon onto a running mate is her undoing.

The lunar eclipse is when the Earth falls into shadow between the Sun and Moon.
The Shadow of the two masculine signs, Libra (air) and Aries (fire), is about the lack of responsibility in striving for the ideals (Libra) and autonomy (Aries) sought by individuals born under these complementary opposites.
When an individual like Kamala Harris, born under the Aries Full Moon, has climbed so high in the public eye to be hit by an eclipse like this, the shadow implications are far beyond the personal.
The collective body is the public. In Carl Jung’s theory of archetypes, the shadow cast by the eclipse is the collective Shadow.

The Downfall of Kamala Harris
Kamala’s solar return chart is dominated by immense tension. The Cardinal Cross with the Full Moon in tense square to the Mars/Pluto opposition is about RAPID FIRE ACTION! Moreover, the mutable T-Square with transiting Saturn in Pisces hitting natal Chiron opposes her tight Venus/ Pluto/Uranus (Shakti!). The square of the mutable stellium to the solar return Moon in the natal Twelfth House approaches transiting Jupiter behind her natal ascendent.
The combination of cardinal and mutable tension indicates psychotic breakdown due to the crashing of the projected self. In this particular case, the crash of ideals is triggered by a media frenzy (Jupiter conjunct the natal North Node conjunct the Ascendent in Gemini) tearing down the fake facade hiding a privileged background (Jupiter ruling her South Node in Taurus hidden in the twelfth house). As Kamala falls, she takes Obama with her.
A Nation’s Wake-Up Call
This lunar eclipse delivers on the promise of the April 8 Great American Eclipse six months ago, Kamala’s downfall is the nation’s wake-up call. Here are four immediate astrological factors:
The SuperMoon is just after dawn in Washington, D.C., placing the cardinal cross (highlighted) on the angles. This means quick and immediate action.
The opposing signs of Libra/Other and Aries/Self are the archetypes of balance in relationship. These signs eclipsed brings natural imbalances into public view. Kamala has achieved a degree of public awareness of the imbalances between masculine and feminine in the culture, yet her great failing is the inability to articulate the lack of equilibrium that her candidacy is meant to rectify.
Harris’ running mate is also caught by the eclipses. The Great American Eclipse was two days after his April 6 birthday. This lunar eclipse hits Walz’s Jupiter at 28 Aries.
The Jupiter Effect
Jupiter is ruled by the sign of Sagittarius. Truth. This year, Jupiter had been traveling through Gemini, the sign of fall. Gemini is lots of talk, gossip, trickery and Kamala’s word salad.
